Hello from Tampa Bay

Hello...
I'm 36/F and sorting things through in my life right now. One thing I'm attempting to do is get a diagnosis. I managed to get an insurance referral to an AS tester, but I keep getting his voice mail and he won't return my calls. :cry: I suppose it doesn't actually matter in the grand scheme of things whether I take the test or not, except to confirm what I already know. The things that people discuss on this board are the things I’ve dealt with in my own life, so I feel an affinity. What I’m hoping to do here is to find community, and maybe learn a few things about how others manage AS in their own lives.

Thank you for the warm welcome, guys. And thank you for the invite, Kim, although (at least this semester) I'm in NPR on Tuesday evenings for college. So I can't attend the meetings for a while. I may do so in the future, however, because I'm highly interested at this point.
