Hi, i am new here (joined about an hour ago).

I am curious to how all this stuff works.

I thought that mabey you could help me.

Could you please send me some tips on how I improve my profile.

And also how to get to now you all and become a fully-fledged member.

I am still not so sure if I can be a member, so perhaps you could guide me along and mabey I can stay.

The basics you can do is to get yourself an avatar, that makes people to recognise you easier. I havent been here so long myself but I can try to guide you whenever you need too. I hope you will stay!

I like it when people put their date of birth and location on their profile, that shows up on their posts (see the left side of my post). This helps people answer your posts better, like US versus UK benefits, etc. (I assume you already know you can edit your profile by clicking on "my account" at the top right of the screen, in the black strip.)

It doesn't show up on your posts but putting your interests and occupation (even if student, retired or disabled) helps people who click on the "profile" button at the bottom of your posts.

Just my opinion. And as others have already said you're a full fledged member - just answer with your opinion on some of the other posts and people will get to know you sooner.

About time you got here. Everyone's been waiting.
