Thought I'd say hello and introduce myself on here, having found the link off facebook.
I'm a 25 year old male, originally from Somerset but now living in Kent where I work for Stagecoach scheduling buses. I've had an interest/obsession with buses since the age of 7 - and have channelled this into a career.
I was diagnosed at 15 with AS, just before leaving school in Year 11 - this did lift the fog a bit on life, and I did suffer at the hands of bullies at school. After college, I moved to Swansea to do a three year Transport Management degree, graduating in 2006 with a 2:2-from there I moved to a Transport Consultants based in Preston - who are respected in their field. I left in October 2008 to join Stagecoach as a Commercial Assistant, realising a childhood ambition to work for the group.
Outside of work, I'm into music (disco house, but the interest is very wide ranging from metal through to folk, and chilled stuff) and like going to the cinema...I also love taking long walks down the beach, which is easy to do as I live just outside Margate. I'm keen to learn the guitar (more because I want to learn a musical instrument and push another interest not related to work) but have yet to acquire one!
Would love to hear from anyone in Kent/South East...or anyone to be honest! While I've progressed well in my career so far I want to go further, and with a lot going on, some of it just doesn't make sense.
