So after years of depression and hating myself I think i have finally found the reason why I cannot keep friends and just what exactly is wrong with me. Ive been researching Aspergers for the past few days, i took a few online quizes and so far it seems very likely that i have it. I started reading articles about it and constantly found myself astounded that i may have found the answer to what has been plaguing my life. Im not sure what to else to say here so... hello all.

Hi Monsoon77 and welcome to the WP. It is an incredible time in your life to discover Asperger's. You will read a lot and research endlessly. Then, if you are like me, you will schedule an appointment with a specialist and see if you have it or not. I was diagnosed with Asperger's this last November at the age of 44. It has made the puzzle pieces of my life fit together.

For me, my life has been happy and fun...and eccentric. I have enjoyed the intense interests that have accompanied me through life. So I enjoy having Asperger's. I hope you can learn to enjoy it too. Though there are a lot of people who don't like having it, I have always treated Asperger's as a wonderful gift. I unwrapped the gift and have always enjoyed it.
