I am new here. I'm still somewhat skeptical so I hope not to upset the first-post traditions by not saying much about myself. I have mulled about the idea of Asperger's Syndrome and ASDs for several years now and I'm pretty sure I fit the description. I intend to pursue a diagnosis this summer. It is not the first time seeing a medical professional on this or related subjects, but it is the first time where it is not completely in the shadow of other, better known and more visible problems, such as depression. I am still piecing together the puzzle of my life in hopes to find the origins of my difficulties, and so I hope that I may be met with discernment as I cannot yet be certain that I am on the Autistic spectrum.
