I found out recently through online study and retrospective insight that i have aspergers.
It is kind of relieving to known that there are people like me too, but far from having reduced empathy i have greater empathy for them.

This forum was an obvious place to investigate the concepts that are new to me, like accepting and using my nature as best I can, instead of trying to become normal.

Anyway this is my hello.

Just want to say hello and trust that you will feel comfortable being here with us. It's a very pleasant place to be.

It's just like being with any group or family. Sometimes everyone gets along other times they don't.

Yeah! I am also a Canuck! I wish there were more of us! There isn't a single group for folks with ASD's in my area. It feels like I am the only aspie in all of Saskatchewan!! ! I'm sure that's not true, but that's how it feels some times.....
