Aspies in Vancouver. Any peer support group for adults/young adults? Meet ups?

I've been wanting to call either/or both ACT BC or Autism BC to see if they can develope an meet-up support group for young adults with Asperger's.

My first attempt was a little awkward. The person on the other line told me to set up a meeting and bring documents of my diagnosis. I think she might have thought I was looking for housing or financial support. I'll be working on making the calls and making myself understood.

Anyway... I suppose um, whoever interested in a meet-up group - let's introduce ourselves to each other. I'll start:

I am Andrew, 22 years old, grew up in Surrey, got my undergrad degree from UBC a while ago, and now pursuing graduate studies in chemical engineering at UBC and becoming a researcher in alternative energy.
