This sounds like a vendetta. I think she told you and the other user to both stop, and then you continued, after being told to stop, and the other user stopping.

As I pointed out at the time, insulting other users back is not defending oneself, but rather retaliating and escalating the conflict. Pikachu has been repeatedly told in the past to use the /ignore function and bring the matter to the attention of an op.

Here is a log of the most recent incident, obtained from Arsanerit, who can independently verify it (irrelevant lines from other users have been removed):

It looks like you personally attacked another WP chatter based on that chat log. Calling someone a jerk or a fool seems more offensive than defensive to me and personal attacks are not permited even if you're using them to defend yourself.

can you remove the both of them from their positions please. there are others who would be thankful for it as well as me, go in to chat and ask if you have to

Jackie took it out of context when she pasted that log, I have asked her to remove it

i think the entire WP chat room needs to be wiped out and redone completely... the ops are good, but the way things work sucks...

Agreed. Jackie posted only an excerpt of what happened. Everything was out of context because she didn't post the entire log.

If you're going to accuse somebody of saying something, you should post the context.

Says the person banned after saying
"hey kiddo, whatever goes on in another chat room, stays in another chat room. do that again and I2 will probably be on your nuts. you're not a very popular person over there."

I am a native English speaker I know razz is slang for raze, or to utterly destroy or pillage. Sure sounds like a threat to me!

Says the same person that uses content from other chat rooms to moderate people on his chat room.

Anyway, this is a breach of privacy. What goes on in the other room should stay in the other room. I made sure to tell you exactly how I felt in the other room because I wanted to keep it away from #WP and the other room that's associated with WP. This is highly unprofessional.

You should be ashamed.

Anyway, keep non #WP affairs off of WP. You're the op of #WP, not of #C********m.

It is nothing of the sort. It is slang for RASPBERRY (with the obvious meaning, via rhyming slang). As a verb: "To hiss or deride; to make fun of (a person)."

razz is pretty common slang for raspberry.

That's most certainly not how it was used at my middle school, still, YOU threatened to harass the guy, and even stated it on this forum! I'm sick and tired of the bickering between the chat rooms, a lot of which has been stirred up by you. I'll be happy to see it end. #wrongplanet is starting to turn into a much better place, slowly but surely, though it's being a little rough of a ride, it needs to be done and hopefully soon it wil be a great aid to everyone on the spectrum!

And fyi: no, I'm not the guy who banned you, I'm just a user who spends time in several rooms at times, and is sick of this!

Nobody from the chat room on IRC starting with the letter C even wants anything to do with WP. Nobody from the chat room on freenode starting with the letter A wants to have anything to do with WP. They just want to be left alone. They think #WP's gone to total garbage because it's becoming overmoderated.

Other than me calling that op out on that other room for using things said in other chat rooms to him personally to base a banning on (Which is highly unethical because you're not supposed to allow personal feelings towards a person affect your behavior as an OP) I have caused NO bickering between the rooms. Quite frankly, nobody wants to have anything to do with the room anymore because it's becoming a police state. My banning and the banning of others (Mostly based on personal reasons) proves that it's already that police state.

And BTW, if you're not the one that banned me, how the heck do you have the log that was posted between you and me? I know nobody from the other room would even want to go to #WP, except for Ars*******, me, and occasionally Le*****st (But he goes there to troll so he doesn't count).

And besides, still, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING TALKING ABOUT A CONVERSATION THAT HAPPENED IN ANOTHER CHAT ROOM ON WRONGPLANET!? If you haven't gotten it by now, that's a total breach of privacy!

Anyway, to Alex, you're the moderator of WP and the op of #WP. See that poll above? That's the percentage of people who want new mods in the chat room. I'm even going to give you a screenshot over PM to show you how many people would rather chat in another room that has no website affiliated with it than to chat in #WP's room because they're sick of the ops.

You have a lot of unsatisfied chatters out there. And most of these unsatisfied chatters once believed in Wrongplanet. We believed in a community for all people with AS. We came to this site to escape the cliques and the excessive social controls that NT's give us in the real world, only to find out that we have the same thing in the chat rooms.

There needs to be change.
