Maybe the comment wasn't ageism. Maybe it was meant to note that young people will tend to have different expectations. Or more likely to not yet have learned not to project their expectations onto others.

I didn't see the post as ageism, and I interpreted the poster's meaning of "problem" moreso as "age-related dilemma" than "those damn kids."

Maybe I'm wrong--I tend to give people "benefit of doubt" if I can't be certain of my observations. I don't have time to dredge up every post by the miscreant-in-question--perhaps you do, which might shed more light on the poster's disposition.

Isn't it so like us to define a community as alienating. Communities are seen from the inside as gathering and accepting, however if you are excluded it is definately alienation that insulates fitting into the community.

lol this is the best thread on WP.

Imo it serves its purpose.
The members like having their arses kissed and the mods make sure that happens.

What is it's purpose you say? Each to their own. It also does a LOT of good for members here. SO SO many have recieved real, unbiased help for their problems.
