Hi,

I've been having trouble loading the chat. :( I tried using the Java chat (IRC never connects for me for some reason, and no, it's not my firewall) and I clicked "Yes" like I am supposed to. I then got this message:

Startup error: java.lang.Error: Unable to load interface pixx : java.lang.SecurityException: trusted loader attempted to load sandboxed resource fro

Then it just cuts off right there at "fro."

Again, I can't use the mIRC link. I get this message:
Unable to connect to server: Connection refused.

IRC never works for me. Can anyone help me fix the Java chat problem? Again, I just updated Java today. I'd love some ideas! Thank you!

EDIT: Now it will load the chat, but it says Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection refused : connect

It's not my firewall. :(

Use x-chat instead of the Java app, you'd find there is lots of errors using that app.

The server runs under Freenode and the channel is #wrongplanet.

Connection refused on that, too! :( I checked my firewall and it's not blocking. IRC anything never connects. Pooey!

I actually don't know what to suggest to you? Because I'm not quite an expert at this part, alternatively, you can use IRC on your mobile phone, that's normally my second alternative on IRC.

ISP or router is probably blocking the port.

I tried joining the IRC channel today, and it told me I am banned. I am using my ChanServ authenticated nick on freenode, and it matches my username on the forum. I have never used the #wrongplanet channel previously. I am using AndChat on Froyo.
