Some of us don't have too many human friends so the only company we've got are our pets and other creatures who don't judge us for our quirky social skills. I feel kind of strange talking about my cats here. I don't know where to post them and I'm sure there's other people who'd also like to share or brag about their pets.

What does everyone think?

Thanks.

I guess I should've made a poll option.

Me too...I've got lots of pets (although I don't think of them as pets, they just live with me and most are self sufficient and can come and go as they please anyway).....my pets don't play games I don't understand.

Peace ellomo

I probably wouldn't frequent a forum like that, but why would anyone vote against it? Besides, even if they did, what would it matter? It wouldn't be for them anyway. I think as long as you get enough support for it, there's no harm in it. Even though I probably wouldn't use it,

I vote yes anyway!

It would probably take up a lot of space but it is a good idea. :) (I accidentally wrote spays the first time! that says a lot!)

I don't know about a whole new forum, though I suppose we could do without Stats or the non English forum. I do think the site needs to do something about the recent plethora of animal abuse themed threads, they seem to reliably degenerate into angry, violent rants and personal attacks against posters who aren't quite so passionate about animals. I'm not sure what should be done at the moment, but I've noticed about a half dozen of these threads have had to be locked in the last couple of weeks, it seems to be a trend.

Since the main purpose of this board has to do with autism and ASD related issues, it only makes sense to include another forum on a specific non-ASD related topical discussion if enough people post about that topic. It doesn't make sense to add new forums if they're just going to end up mostly empty. Discussions that can't be put in any other forum can always be put in the Random Discussion section.
