I was banned from the chat and I haven't done anything wrong whatsoever, at least not that I know of. This morning I was speaking for three hours without a reply, eventually coming to the conclusion there was maybe something wrong with my internet? So, in desperation, I tried an incognito window and still no reply. I then sent 6/7 1 letter messages in a few seconds because I was getting peeved off and now I am banned. I honestly have no idea what is going on and I have sent an email to two different addresses without reply, and in my experience I will not get one. If anyone has experienced anything like this or has any idea what is happening, your words would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Someone presumably assumed you were a bot or a spammer.

I'm not sure there is anywhere on the Internet or the world in general where one cannot get banned for ridiculous and oft-invalid reasons.

*shrugs*

You were probably auto-banned for "spamming"; I'm not familiar with how the chat feature on this site is set up, but it's common for chat rooms to have auto-ban rules. This means that it probably wasn't a human moderator who banned you, but a computer program programmed with the assumption that someone sending a bunch of quick messages like that is being a nuisance to other chatters. :)

Would anyone be so kind as to alert the rooms moderators of my situation? I felt really at home in that chat so it's been quite distressing today not being able to use it.

First, did you send an email to the ops?
Second, the ban usually have a finite duration, so, please try again in next few days.
