I agree. We kinda need mods with banning clearance ASAP, or this community will be vulnerable to all kinds of trolls.

I'm personally enjoying the new WP.
It is so different from the previous version of WP.
I'm really missing the blue and green background....love this new site!! !!
I though the transition would be hard, but it was so easy it's like it never happened.

thirded. already now we're getting spammers waving around ads for kitchen appliances of all things. with the tools to delete individual threads and posts only, i am happy the spam has not exploded and it is few.

I just wanted to post a quick comment to the community about this upgrade process. Alex has been working quite diligently with the web design firm that has been re-designing the site, and wants to get this process right the first time.

Updating a website with a community of this magnitude is no easy process, and takes months of planning. Unfortunately, the first attempt to do the upgrade didn't go as successfully as planned, but the process is very much still under way. I'm currently uncertain on the timeline, but I know the developers and Alex are still hard at work on it. Please keep calm and carry on, the upgrade will happen soon enough.

wish it ran like chan boards where you could just have a skin I really like this style oh well. not a fan of the new style oh well that'd be way too hard to pull of hopefully the new design and coding will work smoothly man.

Yeah, I will miss this nice green and blue style until I become used to the new one. I always liked how different the colors here were to other forums.

I understood it as sarcasm. I'm personally am enjoying being NT. It's like my diagnosis never happened

...that's great and all, but I think you may be seeing the comments- sarcasm, negativity, etc that you are seeing because for some people it really appears that alex has stretched his credibility to the max in terms of stated goals, time frames, demonstrable dedication to the site.

If it was just that the changeover was having issues and nothing else had gone on/was going on, I think maybe a little more leeway might be given? Even though there seems to be frustration, I have not seen a lot of complete throw down flip outs. Mostly just aggravated people expressing said aggravation.

That's just what I'm seeing. Obviously just one persons perspective.

ETA: However, I'm also kind of on the lookout for inexpensive kitchen-ware so that may prove helpful.
