I understand if you are running low on mods and want to appeal to this one but doing that over principle of running a site for ASD is unproductive and defending a bully is toxic. just look at the above reasons there needs to be a checks and balances system asking for that is not trolling its asking for you to make your site better for people like me and others to use.

this site is already dying, I only have to show the level abuse I've gotten from you and the other mods, and it'll push up the natural cause and wrong planet will die, and so will alex's project and no one will give a f**k about autism speaks when there's proof its forum has mods that abuser their power, and gaslight/abuse its users. you c an not stop revolution. the streisand effect will destroy you, and your site alex.

enjoy your site falling into obscurity, or actually just listen to an appropriate criticism that your mods need someone above them keeping them in check just as much, especially on a forum for people with mental disorders who wouldn't be able to defend themselves from abuse. which I believe is and could be happening regularly here from bullies like this.

Hmm well so far not liking that with the upgrade to the site you have to wait around for a moderator to approve your post for it to show up on the site. I feel like that is really going to slow down conversation, and just don't have the sort of patience to post, hope my post actually gets 'approved'(even to just post in a thread) and then hope for responses...I can see this just turning into a frusterating place for me if that is how it is going to be.

Anyone bothered by this? I am also sort of worried that people who might post at later hours at night and early morning will be left hanging as I doubt there will be moderators to go through every single thing people are trying to post 24/7 so yeah I just feel this site is really going to be slowed down with this...but I guess I will stick around, see how it goes but if I am waiting 10 minutes or more every time I post to even find out if my post even was 'approved' let alone get any responses pretty sure I will lose my patience and just find another site that is quicker moving.

The approval thing is a bug. We're literally on a conference call now trying to figure it out.

Only thing I would mention is for some of us the use of white background (ever other post) can make it difficult to read, maybe a slight tint.

I would like to make a suggestion. I know that oftentimes new members will ask if there is someone in their area that is a good therapist for making a DX or therapy in general. I was thinking that maybe a new post could be created (in Therapies and Services) where members could add in their therapist referrals for their area. That way new members could browse to their area and see which therapists have good recommendations.

I wonder if legally it would be ok to actually have a really organised system with subforums dedicated to each region and sub region. Individual psychs could then be reviewed.

Also would it be possible to have quote notifications? Im surprised that they werent included in the update. It really facilitates debate quite nicely

SUGGESTIONS:

• It would be nice to be able to block PMs, from certain users. I’m SICK TO DEATH of being stalked, and sent suggestive PMs----from MARRIED men, no less!! !! !! !! !! !!
• It would be nice if signatures stayed at the BOTTOM of post blocks----they're too intrusive, in posts, IMO.

This. On a related note, I have visual processing difficulties and hate ads. When I use AdBlock, which I kind of need to help me focus, WP displays a message that "it's run off ads" and that I shouldn't be blocking them because of that. Could there be an option where you could pay a small monthly fee of some sort and then be able to use the site without ads?
