Wrong gender

Hey, guys.

I joined the site today and for reasons that are not apparent to me, it's showing my gender as female. I can't work out how to change it - any ideas?

It's probably less hassle to have gender reassignment surgery that changing it here :twisted:

My Account (top of the page here)>Edit Profile. There is an option to change it there.

As before when I first signed up here years ago, I'm finding that after a long hiatus, and after only a few days back on here, I'm spending way too much time here again already. So I'm requesting my account be locked, banned or whatever. It's just time. Until then, well, I dunno...

Only if you are a male! I changed it and now I'm stuck! The profile option for changing gender vanishes if you are female.

If it bothers you, since you only have a few posts, you may be able to create another account with the correct profile details.

There's a mod on here who's a guy but his profile displays him as female because there is no way for him to change it

Since your a new member you could ask a mod to ban your account & then create another one.

Actually, no, it vanishes no matter what you choose. Once you've made the choice, you're stuck with it. I just set mine and it's gone for me now as well.

Set up a signature line that says something like "I'm really MALE, but this *&^%$#@ software won't let me correct it."

If it really bothers you, create a new account, but PM a moderator to let us know so we can ban your old account.
