Threads generally pop up in Members Only as people arrange for the occasional group meet because it provides a level of privacy about the details - but because of their transitory nature, creating a dedicated forum for them wouldn't really be necessary.

The website Has A "(Bipolar, Tourettes, Schizophrenia, and other Psychological Conditions)" section, and it appears as if a lot of us have learning disabilities. so how about a (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia and other Learning Disabilities) section?

I personalty have more difficulties in thees areas than in thews directly related to ASD. I believe that it would be of grate benefit to those of us with Learning Disabilities to have a common place.

I actually think this is a great idea. These learning disabilities come up all the time. It must be hard to find them mixed in with everything else on GA, and they really don't "fit" anywhere else.

A section for problems concerning special interests should also be considered imo. Those problems can be serious.

Food and Recipe or Food and Cooking Forum. Random/Health is not cutting it. Many Autistics could benefit in multiple ways from having a Food and Recipe or Food and Cooking forum section on WP.

AFAIK no-one took up my suggestion at the end of that thread, which seems to indicate a lack of general interest.

I think it would be 1,000,000X easier and better if you could upload any file size photo or resolution but like Facebook it just compresses it by size and resolution to something more suitable. It would be much better then me having to go into paint and then stretch my image smaller and then make it a .gif because the file size was still to big.

I would also like to see a sub-section for Home and Home care where we could give each other advice about every day tasks... Cooking could be included into this one. I really need some advice from fellow AS how to deal with everything... Maybe we could develop some effective plans together. Now it all seems like an overwhelming chaos to me.

For a website that has an LGBT section, it is strange to find the only gender options within your profile, are male or female. It would be nice to have other options, or be able to leave it blank.

As a genderqueer person I find this confronting.

Some websites I've seen have: Male, Female, Other or Both.

True. I felt awkward when I had to choose one. I actually would love to leave it blank.

My sugestion is for WP to do back ups. I used to belong to a forum that was just a bit smaller than this one, so it was pretty big, and it got hacked. They lost all information and topics. It would be a shame to lose all information here and to not learn from the mistakes of other forums.

If you already do back ups, then good! :)

Please PM me with details.

I have a sugestion.

To create a sticky thread on guns, so the PPR isn't plagued by the gun debate. There are 12 gun related topics active on PPR. It's ridiculous.
