The moderators don't care

I didn't say controversial views aren't allowed. However, if your controversial views are allowed, so are everybody else's.
You haven't mentioned what these alleged insults are, but how can you expect to be able to insult others, but something be done if someone else insults you?
If you want calm discussions, they have to be more neutral. If you want heated debates, you can't expect other people to always like what you say.
To use your mouse analogy, if you want to be a neon green mouse, you can't go crying that you don't like the color of some other mouse.

When you "asked" if the moderators told me to say what I said, you were accusing me of speaking for them. It was a nasty thing for you to say.
It seems like you've done nothing but complain and cause trouble since joining WP two days ago. Why did you join if you just wanted to insult people? I've been trying to talk to you, I thought maybe you were feeling misunderstood, but it's starting to seem like all you want to do is argue.

What's this forum for again? Oh that's it, a syndrome that causes social interactions to be impaired, a tendency to see things in black and white, difficulty distinguishing deliberate and accidental acts...Need I go on?

Quit the argy bargy and try to imagine how the other person feels before you reply. Even though that's something most of us have extreme difficulty doing!

Okay OP tell us what the insults were or else we will all assume you are just a troll because you couldn't even answer the question. People who don't answer questions in this situation raises a red flag.

I've had moderator warnings for coming off as mildly insulting, I don't think the moderators tell both paqrties, just the offending ones.

Truth be told, I would like to like you. Even right now. I find your use of Latin fun and I think your command of English is superb for you being a non-native speaker/writer. Admirable, in fact. I just can't fathom why this sort of attack is coming from you aimed at these moderators*. You're not an uneducated person or a kid who wants to "stick it to the man". In this instance, I am hoping that a "tough stance" on my part is going to snap you into either communicating with me via PM or communicating with the rest of the board more openly. I want to make sure you can truly see what this handful of "police" (if I may) has to deal with on this vast site. Sometimes, things slip by them because there are just so many posts that they can't be everywhere at once.

*NOTE: I want to say definitively that have no affiliation or relationship with any moderator here. I have had some of my behaviors addressed by moderators here. It is never pleasant, but I always try very hard to use it as a learning experience; I want to better myself and be a force that helps rather than a force that hurts. This opinion is in no way sucking up to moderators or defending moderators solely because I have some delusion that I am Super Vipera, Galactic Defender (although I must admit that the title sounds nice) and I am not seeking, expecting, or desiring special treatment from any moderator in any way. I know the moderators already know this, but I want YOU to know it too. I'm not just some shill spouting rhetoric.

Yeah Maggiedoll. I don't think you understand the situation. It causes a lot of stress when you start saying things like that. Don't be a butthole. And next time, have some experience of the matter(or think more about it if you have experience) before you come and blatantly insult people. You're acting like a bully.

Complaining about something and then not even telling us what we did wrong raises a red flag is all. Then reporting my post really tells me something about you. I doubt the mods are going to see anything wrong with it because it didn't violate any rules.

Plotinus, to resolve this, simply tell us what the insults are. Post the links here, or better yet, PM the mods, and I can assure you it will take care of for you. "Reporting" remarks made by people trying to help you out is lame and pointless, and will not help.

The remarks you call hurtful are borderline issues. And the PPR forum is one of the hottest areas (in terms of flames) in this BBS. My advice: you can't stand the heat, stop sitting in the volcanic caldera. This is a support site, first and foremost. If you're going to express political opinions, then expect to get a response, especially if many think them spurious (at best).

I would also advise you to consider something. I am a mod myself, and although you haven't contacted me via PM (which would be the best way to get my attention), I suggest that you only do so if you have a serious complaint. Because otherwise I will treat you like a vexatious litigant.

She didn't insult you. If that's the kind of thing you call "insults", then no wonder the mods aren't doing anything about it. Someone disagreeing with you isn't an insult. Some of the things you have been saying to other people, however, are insults.

I see two possibilities:

1) you like complaining to complain, or

2) you are honestly misreading situations and are frustrated.

Well, for those with AS, situation 2 happens a lot, doesn't it? But the effective response isn't arguing and arguing your case further and hoping someone will finally see the light. The effective response is to go backwards and try to see the exchanges from a different light, and see what you can learn from them. When you can't get anyone to see things the way you do, it is time to question who is seeing it incorrectly, and the responses in this thread are making it pretty evident that this is the situation with your posting; it is time to assume that you are missreading the exchanges you have been engaged in and, therefore, to try to break them down and figure out why.

Of course, if you don't wish to engage in effective conversation that is a different matter. Then you don't have to do the homework, and can be correctly defined as a troll. But if you are sincere, and don't want a troll label, its time to figure things out. People here are happy to work with you on it if that is your wish.

I get insulted all the time and have even gone as far as being repeatedly harassed by some of the same members on here via PMs and messenger.

It happens so get use to it....if you haven't already.

Oh and if I said anything insulting to you I apologize. I've made the same mistakes in thinking ppl were insulting me when really they were kidding around or used what I thought was an insult into another context.
