You may not have seen the last posts in that thread; but I can't argue with the decision to remove it from circulation.

I think the last posts were mine and Quaterm and I can't recall exactly what was said except some idea that he was calling the membership here non-human and disgusting or something. I reacted in possibly an uncomplimentary way.
I am sure it is all all over now and we are all friends or at least happy to just get on with things and let life go back to normal.

hmm, must be what happend to my thread also. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but guess I should have known that people couldnt control themselfs, I will be sure to take that into consideration in any of my future posts :? I find it so very frustrating, sometimes you get a very supportive thread and replys, then other times you get people bashing you, wanting to argue with you, or a fight breaks out, and it seems you can never tell when this is going to happen, it is very hit and mis. It would be nice if there was such thing as a support community were everyone is there to support each other, but that is just wishful thinking.

It's all about whether people have strong feelings on an issue and whether they are allowed to express them.

If a thread gets really ugly, I wouldn't want it quotable anywhere else, or read at all. There isn't any point. If there is time, and there is enough worth redeeming, the thread may be edited or split, but often neither exists so it just gets killed. Most locked threads have some solid content, but were getting out of hand; the lock stops the process. It's all a judgement call.

http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt116287.html There was just recently a thread complaining about locked posts and asking if more posts couldn't simply be deleted instead of being locked. In that one, I said more or less the same thing that you just said, that missing posts are confusing. But this seems to be a personal preference kind of thing, and both sides have a point. Either way, somebody is going to complain.

Here's a question about a specific topic: The "What's with the obsession with Pokémon around here?" in Games and Video Games. It was a troll topic, and it's apparently deleted now (since when I click on it, it says "The topic or post you requested does not exist". My question is if it was deleted, why does it still show up in the forum and why does it say "moved" in front of it?

The thread in question was removed from that subforum and from circulation; when it was moved, an indicator was left in the forum inadvertently. I have tried to correct the issue, but have not been able to yet.

Do you think it will be possible to see it eventually?

Not likely; the thread was removed by another moderator for a reason. I will take a look this evening to see if there is anything I can salvage from it.

I got a warning about posting in a thread that was removed,

Quote:
Attacks on other members are not acceptable on WP; the thread in question, regarding aspie women, has been removed due to attacks from multiple individuals within the thread.

It would've been nice to know what exacty I said in it that caused me to get warned.
