The thanks or like button idea is a groovy one. More positivity is a good thing.

My problem is their is no "dislike" or "no thanks" button. So if I disagree then I must comment every time and that might make me seem more negative.

It's not necessarily negative to disagree.

I disagree. :)
Negativity and disagreeing often go hand-in-hand. Or maybe disagreeing a lot makes me seem argumentative which a lot of people have negative reactions too.

You can disagree, but that doesn't mean I'm not right.

If I say the moon is orange, and you say it's green, what's inherently negative about that?

I don't think this is a particularly negative exchange.

Maybe some people are not used to amicable disagreement. Perhaps in the experience of many, disagreement is always a precursor to something negative occurring. Perhaps parenting, schooling, or experiences with other institutions that do not brook disagreement inculcate this kind of expectation.

Ok, now I'm flip-flopping on the issue. I agree with you. You are correct. :)

Now, flip flopping always leads to horror.

Nah, just kidding, I can flip flop around a bit myself.

It's nice to know I'm making sense.
