I'm getting this box now. Additionally unless I temporarily allow WP.net in NoScript I get a different box that says something about Javascript and WP not working properly. I cannot close this box so it makes navigation impossible. My scroll bar is back though

My own bandwidth is used when an ad comes up- unwanted- so it actually costs me to view ads, so I have little sympathy for companies losing ad revenue. Sorry

That's nice. I don't want malware on my computer due to ads, so I blocked them. If people didn't put malware in ads, I would allow them. Too bad. Like I said, the safety of my computer is more important to me than if this web site continues to exist.

Goodbye.

As I mentioned, this is just a temporary test. And we don't have any malware in any of the ads we serve.

Just a note,

this only pops up if you're blocking the single text ad from Google on the left so the argument that the images/flash is distracting is not relavent. If you were only blocking the flash/image ads, you wouldn't be getting an error.

The site needs people to view the ads to be able to pay our expensive hosting costs. If everyone was selfish enough to block the ads, we would have to shut down the site.

you can choose not to block google adsense in the time being because I haven't had a chance to disable the dialog box yet.

I am also getting this popup after every page load, in Google Chrome.

I have the hosts file from http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm which removes domains known to track users or host malicious content. Google is the biggest advertising and tracking company on the Internet (larger than all others combined!).
