@hyperlexian Wait WHAT? :? the only adults in there should be the moderators, and possibly any parents / surrogates of the children. Yes, very good point anyway.

@stupideffingyoshi - you'll find Cornflake was talking about himself. No one has a problem with the OP.

@Aharon - I understand your concern regarding potentially explicit threads being within easy reach and view of children. It's most fortunate then that this section and others are off limits to them should any content be explicit :) . Should any kids be creating accounts with false credentials it's a good thing that these boards aren't entirely about sex...with the exception of the Adult Autism board maybe

As far as placement of Kids Crater goes.....I think it's fine where it is. I wouldn't imagine many kids know what LBGT really means, anyway. They are too busy being kids to care about what sexuality they are or what all of us get up to out on the town and at work etc.

"This particular poster" is a reference to the person writing the post: myself.
If I'd meant the OP I would have said "Aharon" or "the OP" like anyone else would have done.

I was making the point that even kids are gay but because they're kids, people seem to feel a need to "protect" them from learning anything more about themselves - but this is counterproductive and in some cases, damaging. In my experience, this need seems to stem from an irrational view that anything involving LGBT is a festering pit of corruption, depravity and sex but like WP's LGBT forum, it is not.

I'd be quite happy to ban you though, if that's what you want.
Let me know via PM.

I don't recall seeing a lot of "sexual" content in the LGBT forum when I've been active about reading it. I could be wrong.

All things considered, I would rather that children had access to that information so they can know earlier than many others did (like Cornflake or myself) that there's nothing wrong with them.
