Should we change our password because of what happened here?

that shouldn't be necessary.
Changing passwords might not be an issue here, but "in general", I'm sure it would save
everybody some trouble if they
would follow MY advice!

A RECOMMENDATION OF MINE:
You should do what I have done:
++ Have 2 email accounts --
** one "permanent" address for friends and family that you trust...
** one "disposable" address for 'ALL other purposes" (Wrong Planet, mailing lists, online shopping, etc.)...
++ Choose
good passwords --
**
USE at least 6 characters in your password (******).
**
DON'T use "dictionary words"! (skunk453, 568butter23, car_stereo32).
**
USE both letters
AND numbers (dgrfn2plywth95).
** Optionally, use BOTH lowercase and uppercase and/or special characters (btta$gd2Et4Dnr).
++
Disable OR
Block the
automatic viewing of remote images AND JavaScript (if possible) for ALL of your emails -- If the email is from someone who you absolutely trust, tell the program to view the images...
++
Set your virus protection program to update its signature files
automatically daily!
