i thought it may have something to do with the disgruntled previous member who posted the gore, and who i thought was also responsible for the asian spamming fiasco.
the error message i got had the word "nuke" in it (i can not remember the full wording), and it ended with "try to fix it", and so i wondered whether the site had been maliciously compromised.
