Size limit to thread titles frustrating.

How hard is it write that?

I apologize for my lack of sympathy, but..

If you cant do something that easy than the problem is you. Not the character limit.

In fact its good descipline.

If the subject your posting cant be described in 30 characters you probably havent yet gotten to the nub of the issue in your own head yet. And the very act of figuring out how to describe it in the 30 character limit probably sharpens your thinking about the issue (whatever it is).

Same here. I shifted over to another discussion forum, at least for issues that aren't AS-specific. Because I got tired of editing my thread titles and running into CAPTCHA all the time (which has recently come back). They don't have a length limit. Virtually no one abuses it. Those who do, get dealt with quickly.

But this actually makes sense. Which most people refuse to stand for. Even aspie-friendly site owners, apparently.

Indeed. :D

The only thing it sharpened is my ability to seek moral support elsewhere. I still use this site for AS-specific issues, though.

This is a support forum not a forum for aspiring headline writers. So take your condescending attitude towered us people with inferior writing and thinking abilities, us inferior skilled people who find writing titles of 30 charactors and oh the horror even 60 charactors difficult and shove it.

I don't think there was any need to say that other people are "problems".

If you think Twitter's limit might have at all refined Drumpf's insults...
