I'm just going to state for the record that I've also reviewed that thread, and as OP I don't consider anything to be too off topic and don't want any "cleanup" done on that account. Also, the only thing even close to a personal attack in there was the person suggesting that my opinions were caused by my autism making me too cold to understand a position instead of me rationally concluding that the position was ridiculous, all of my posts were strictly confined to criticizing posts and not posters, as has been repeatedly conveyed to me as being within the rules. Finally, I don't want to talk about it in public, but if any moderator is interested in the full context of my argument with aghogday and what I was doing there, feel free to PM me and I'll provide links and quotes explaining it, if my comments in the thread don't make it clear enough.

The last remark here was a very serious accusation.
The thing has been sorted out. Sorry for removing a large part of the discussion. In abstract, it could have been quite interesting, but the context of a personal attack in which it emerged, together with further personal attacks that followed, made it definitely inappropriate.
