A friend list maybe??

A friends list is inherently exclusive... it stinks not to be on a list of someone you think is cool, but it is worse when used as a personal weapon when friends drop each other.

Because members here have gone back and editing their posts deleting them leaving "...." or smiley faces. It gets annoying when some users do that so Alex put a time limit to the editing.

You have a week to fix your posts after you make them. So just check for spelling and everything. You have a week.

Okay, thanks for your answer :)

When I get this message:

Quote:
Wrong Planet is currently experiencing a VERY high amount of people posting messages to the site and can't handle the load.

We should be back in 2 to 3 minutes or less.

To pass the time, check out this video from Wrong Planet's YouTube channel:

and I try to watch this video, I get this message:
Quote:
This video has been removed due to terms of use violation.
.
I thought somebody could insert there some other video...

I've been wondering... if it is possible and you could do it... Could there be a "save this thread to favourites /subscribe to this thread" option? There are many very interesting threads and am afraid I'll lost them on this giant Wrong Planet :)

at the left bottom side of the thread is Watch this topic for replies click on it and it takes you back to the first page. Then go back to the page you were reading and the next post that is posted will send a topic notification to your email in box.

:D

 Thanks! I didn't notice it  I've tried it, but haven't received anything yet, my mailbox works funny. Well, I still like saving threads to favourites because even if the thread is dead, I still think it's precious :) Could this saving to favourites be possible? :) I don't mean saving to favourites in my browser ;) I mean it on WP account :)

you might start a PM to yourself, and then go to that thread you want to save and up at the top is a little

dog eared page icon New post Posted: Day Month Date, Year Time am/pm Post subject:

click on the dog eared page icon and the screen will resolve into that post at the top of the screen. Go to the address bar on your browser and copy and save that URL then paste it into your PM to yourself. This way when you want to browse your 'favorites' you have them instantly just a click away. :D

Merle

PS you should have received an email notification about this post in a thread you are watching. You might check your spam filter, too. I know that hotmail and yahoo will just reject private forum topic notifications when it feels like it! Gmail seems to work well with WP, though. Oh! and when you are posting, make sure you have a check mark in the box below the in "Notify me when a reply is posted"

Can you make your account private?
So only other members can read your posts?

[hide]Once I've seen such "hide" option - only people who posted in thread can see hidden posts. I've tried here, but it doesn't work.[/hide]

No, it doesn't. It is my understanding that this site is very public on purpose, in that we may discuss things that non-members are looking for answers to or that non-members will benefit by being able to relate to. It gets touchy at times, in my opinion, because some very private and difficult things are discussed, but it is what it is and posters need to understand that when they share, and make a conscious choice to accept the potential costs. Hopefully, it serves the larger purpose intended more often than not.
