Some are just addicted to the site, and have very good rapport with a lot of the members. But I do think there is sometimes a lot of favoritism, and that there is a bit of a caste system on here. There are times where I talk about leaving, almost always because of conflict with another member for whatever reason (in particular, involving a certain ill-fated romantic attempt that most of the more senior members know about). In addition, many of the members I felt I could relate to and identify with were active around 2006-2008, and left after that time.

I do try to avoid L&D simply because of Katy (resident troll), and her view that all men on the spectrum are these over-entitled Elliott Rodgers-types.

I think it's interesting that "too pro-cure" is a poll option, while "too anti-cure" is not.

If I leave WP, it will be because of all the judgement and assumptions that people throw out about other autistics (all the BS about functioning levels is the best example, but there are many subtler ones) -- they are ridiculous, in some cases extremely prejudiced/bigoted, and in many cases very hurtful.

Nice signature btw.

Ah yes, I can see where all his pent up frustration and hostility lay.
I’m not here to simply honour and celebrate the fact that others have done it and done far better in setting the foundation for others of the opposite sex. For many years now, the genetic tests in realising women who have Asd, are far more intuitive and highly balanced in their decision making skills than anyone else., more need to come forward and set a positive milestone for many more generations of females to come.

As for leaving and coming back, I think I'd leave it up to who was brave enough to finish what they started instead of letting it be over-run by another gossip column elsewhere to alleviate unwanted tension and stress.

Isn't it kind of covered by the "Yes, they thought this site was too positive towards ASDs" option?

I suppose? I don't think they're quite the same, but probably close enough.
