It's annoying. I find if I click on the arrow, it goes away and is way at the side of the screen in the corner. But every time I go to a new page, I have to click the arrow again to make it go away.

There is nothing beneficial about it, it is just intrusive. Why add it?

Thanks for the tip on the noscript, Vigilans. I was playing around with it with no success. I'll do what you did.

Are you sure that wasn't my noscript tip? ;)

Actually yes, sorry. But after I did it I could no longer access the discussion forums page. I am seriously non technical and easily confused by things like this. I now hate this toolbar even more. There's no way I am going to make things on WP public on Facebook, so it's all just a huge pointless annoyance.

I see it too, and I don't like it. Not at all. Who thought it was a good idea to add this big annoying thing to the site?

Correct; I don't like it either. Bin it.

I was able to block it with NoScript, thankfully. It still shouldn't be there in the first place because not everyone uses NoScript.

You need to click on the big "WrongPlanet.net" logo after logging in, and either click the "discussion forum" link in the sentence on the front page (Wrong Planet is the web community designed for individuals (and parents / professionals of those) with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, PDDs, and other neurological differences. We provide a discussion forum, where members communicate with each other, an article section, with exclusive articles and how-to guides, a blogging feature, and a chatroom for real-time communication with other Aspies.) or bookmark the discussion forum area. NoScript prevents a lot of stuff from working, but I don't personally mind, as they tend to be frivolous things

Keep in mind, I am useing linux, so idk if this will work in windows, or mac.

Download noscript. Right click on any part of wp, select "noscript" and then "Allow WrongPlanet.net". That will prevent the annoyances it causes with wp, but will get rid of the toolbar.

Please, remove it. It is useless and very annoying. Besides, I have no intention of sharing the highly personal posts from the members here with my friends on Facebook and/or my e-mail contacts. And I believe (and I hope I am not mistaken) that the majority of Wrong Planet members would agree with me.

Hmmm, now I'm getting this error "Your browser is not loading all content on this page" every time I load pages. Any relation to these changes?

I notice the Wrongplanet.net javascript is the source of this error message.

I've removed the social network bar due to user complaints.
