See, This is why I refuse to use ads on any website I own... It affects the overall Ethos of the site, and people complain.

There again, This is Alex' site, and I don't have any say in what goes on.

That was extremely annoying, but thanks to the advice here I was able to opt out.

It is possible that there are more people annoyed about it than have posted here simply because they may not be aware that this forum exists - for the sorting out of such problems.

I wonder if there is a limit on how many words it will convert into adverts in a post? Where to get a cheap loan to buy diet pills or viagra and the latest DVD movie or maybe purchase an iPad or iPod. Better to make money or invest in shares then lose weight in the process of exercise while looking for good deals online for some shopping.

:lmao:

You forgot that you might need to grow another 3 inches to last longer and please her all night, and maybe also impress people with your free cheap Rolex. Have you heard about all the singles in your area who want to meet you?

I'm still getting these highlighted words on my Apple iphone.

But I am not getting them on IE at a university library computer.

I may be irreparably stoopid, but at the bottom of what? I just don't see a "?" at the bottom of anything. I tried with Safari and Firefox.

I wish this worked, I tried it. But it does not work for me.

Me either. It just reloaded the page.

I noticed the infolinks earlier and thought there was something wrong with my browser. They appear on Safari too. Oddly, those green underlined words appeared when I was browsing WP at home but not while I'm at work. They are annoying though.

It should be right down the bottom right hand corner of the pop-up when you hover your mouse over the green text. It's only tiny, inside a little circle.

I had to trawl through the FAQ on the infolinks site to find how to do this.

Well, it didn't work for me. This stuff should be removed NOW. I tolerated the ads on WP previously, but when you get this crap going on, it's clear that someone's dropped the ball. And if I find that there's malware on my computer because of this, I am going to have a major conniption.

Worked for me, thanks for the info. I was leery about clicking on the link originally, and didn't see the opt out info on the actual website.

We're running this as a test to see how beneficial it is.

Any reason why in the last 10 minutes they've gone from green to blue?
