Err...

I can appreciate that, and I can appreciate you're not trying to... but...

is a contradiction to this:

You're allowing access to an image upload service to WP, Which is a special area of the site.

I'm allowing access to store images on the WP server and link to them on the forums, as opposed to them linking to images stored elsewhere on the web that the user would have to go figure out for themselves. You would have a point if it were structured in such a way that users who didn't pay couldn't *post* images, but that's not what I'm talking about.

The underlying reason that image hosting isn't allowed here is because storage costs money, on some level. The decision is to provide disk space and bandwidth to people who contribute to the bills for the disk space and bandwidth.

It's an alternative source of revenue for the site than ads, it doesn't effect the ability for any member to fully participate in the community, and it provides an easy solution for people who come to this site and want to make a contribution - as well as people who don't already have an account on an image host and want to post images to the forum.

Therefore you are allowing access to a special module to users that pay WP a sum of cash per year, No?

and therefore, You're allowing a premium membership.

That members could find elsewhere on their own for free and still have access to the whole thing (meaning the entire WP forum, chat, etc). It's a premium membership that doesn't dilute the community at all. Very similar to the premium memberships that exist now.
