Perhaps you could update WP's original phpbb style to phpbb3 and add it as an option in our preferences?

The stark white background (and occasionally purple text by different users) was starting to do my eyes in. This different background is WAY, WAY better. Thank you SO much FMX!!

Just to clarify:

1) What version of Firefox do you have? You can enter "about:" (without quotes) in the address bar or press Alt-H, A to find out.
2) Is the Stylish icon in the toolbar in colour or grayed out when you're on WP? Is there a tick next to the "WrongPlanet forum color fixes" menu item when you click on it, like this?

I put it into a separate style, since I'm not sure what most people would prefer.

Thank you so much! I came back to the site after being away for a while, and could barely stand to read through a handful of posts. I thought I was going to have to give up on WrongPlanet for good! Same problem I had with the new Gmail redesign, except then at least I could choose a theme with higher contrast. My visual processing problems make it difficult to scan across lines when the delineations aren't clear. Without the strong contrasting alternating post colors, my eyes kept skipping around. Very unpleasant!

Is it possible to turn CSS styles into phpBB styles?

If so, perhaps this style can be put into WP itself, as an option in the "My Account" settings?

I would imagine so. That would be a project for someone else to take on, though.

What problem do you mean? The "Location" text going into the next post or something else?

That doesn't happen for me, but anyway, easy way to tell: disable the custom style (left-click on the Stylish toolbar icon, click Disable next to the style name) and see if it still happens.

Has anyone noticed that WP looks a little bit... different today? The main page of the forums seems to have a grid, and some other things have been changed about the layout.

i have. so far, i'm not a big fan. (what happened to disabling smilies and bbcode in individual posts? it would get quite cumbersome to go to the UCP every time.)

Yeah, I noticed it. That wasn't my change, in case you're wondering. It's still like that if you disable the custom style.

I also suggest making the "Wrong Planet" title a little more subtle. I want to be able to browse without my co-workers knowing. Right now the letters are huge at the top of the screen.
