again, that's not how it works. less people are on during the times I mentioned so less people will be affected and the people who are affected won't notice it as much.

You just have to correct people, eh? Well correct yourself for putting it at an inopportune time in the first place. Calandale already mentioned this likelihood. Just in case you missed it, here it is:

Your absolute need to feel important and intelligent is transparent. I rarely see a post from you that's doing anything more than that. "Look, you're wrong." or "Look, bet you didn't know about this." Do what you will if you can't handle that kind of criticism, be it saying "No, you're wrong" or otherwise. Just don't use an excuse like "No, I just don't like seeing incorrect things."

Sorry, not people, person, the last bit wasn't directed towards calandale. I see that it appeared that way in hindsight.

You could satisfy both desires by repeatedly posting a picture in the post a picture thread. Every time you posted, you could go back to it and see yet another picture of yourself.

Pictures aren't like mirrors. Not shiny enough.

You already said this, and I already addressed it. Anything new to add for a change?

Yeah, I ended up double posting on accident because the site froze when I was trying to respond to someone

That used to happen a lot, but it doesn't happen to me anymore.

I still get it on the freezes, and see that other people
do as well. It's a matter of being impatient, in some
cases.

Simply knowing why it happened would likely be enough

Websites/servers have to back up and do maintenance; typically nightly, when the fewest people access it. (The worst is when my local ISP shuts down!)

Meaning those aren't the only two things in his life; makes sense to me, having juggled work, school, family, hobbies, friends, love etc. I only found this site a month ago, so I don't have any big loyalty to Alex, but it feels to me like you're being testy, or something.
[Edit: i AM grateful for Alex making this site & helping us Aspies get together like this... And it still seems like you're being insensitive and almost rude.]

I'm in New Jersey (Eastern Time) and the shutdown happens in the wee hours (1:20-3am?) here, when I should be asleep, but that's usually when I'm catching up and starting to post, and - oops! Can't do it. So I would vote to make it an hour or two later, especially if that's the least active time. (Site time is 14 hours ahead of me, so I'm guessing the server's in Australia?)
