I only ever have Captcha when my post contains a quote now.

I guess this must not be happening on Alex's computer.

Maybe it is. Maybe Alex has been desperately trying to answer us all along. :D

Yes, don't be discouraged if you get the CAPTCHA again when you submit the edit though. Edits normally go through the first time after completing a CAPTCHA, unlike when you make a new post and it brings you back to your editing page with your post erased.

It ALWAYS brings me back to the editing page with the post erased. That really sucks.

I've had some luck with remembering *not* to do Captcha, click Back, msg is still there, block copy, and then proceed. If it deletes, I still have it. If I was smart, I'd do it before I see Captcha, but I can only go with I got.

Are we asking somebody (who?) to do something (what?)

I've tried to copy the text and then paste it back in, but that doesn't mean it gets posted the second time. From my experience, anything that was refused once is refused no matter how many times I try.

My big trick is to stop *before* typing Captcha, immediately Back & block, Submit again, and if it gets deleted you still have it. Funny thing - Captcha usually lets me through that way. Just trying to help.
