These errors are particularly bad in the morning and midday for me.
It's also one of the only times I get to post. Bit annoying.

I am glad I am not alone on this. This happens regularly from Australian end. Every day from 1pm eastern Australian time WP goes offline. Assuming that hit midnight NYC time. It happens every single day! Only works mornings in our time but never in afternoon nor evening.

I have a feeling it got to do with capacity. I have been member of WP since 2008 (under different username due to old email address). I seen it the changes on this site since, and appears now out of control. I have life offline more than being on the internet.

The problem we facing in current generation is young people lack participating with things in reality. They turn their heads to computer screen causing major impacts with technology, environment and society in general.

I am pretty sure it is universal based on my testing using a VPN when the error happened. I have tried a bunch of VPN locations so I'd conclude it isn't a location specific thing. If it were limited to a specific location, using a VPN location on another continent would have the site load from a server more local to there and it would be accessible.

I am also leaning towards it being capacity, DDOS is possible but in reality so expensive. Some people hate those with autism but is it worth tens/hundreds of thousands of dollars just to troll?

Never did we have the time for any of that luxury sleeping and getting up to all that newfangled internettle, facepack and going fungal stuff over them there fancy ear-horn-clever devices!

I am not sure if it is just happen-stance, but I have found that when it goes all 502 (etcetera) error ~ repeatedly retrying for a live version takes about 6 or 7 goes. Has taken about twenty minutes to get through in each case on three treads a number of times. If that is a worker or what ~ I know not?

Looks like it been working all day here in Australia now in past 24-48 hours without host error.

I have a feeling there some issues with the Cloud storage area which affects the bandwidth to the country's host.

The outages I experienced were like a minute or two the last couple of days.

You were lucky! Back in my day we had to wake up half an hour before we went to bed and our school was a shoebox in the middle of the road and our teachers were four Yorkshire men who kept saying Back in my day...

I've not been able to connect any times I've tried in months. I'm in Australia so my times are unfortunately probably the down times mentioned above but it's very frustrating/agitating
