The same was said about the person who did it to me , in fact so much so that I was not believed at first.

It just goes to show that just because a member appears ok in their public posts it doesn't mean that they won't flip when in PM's ( where they are out of view )

Well I got lucky because I have never heard of this person nor do I even recognize him.

Yeah, I saw similar years ago, back when I was a forum mod (just a geek coding site, so much less tricky than here!) It's a convenient way to gaslight people - "It must be you that's cranky, everyone else thinks I'm lovely, just go look at my posts." FWIW, I thought LLW's posts were a bit over-familiar sometimes, but I wouldn't have suspected anything so abusive from his posts alone.

And big hugs to the mods for dealing with this, and for the way that you've dealt with it. One of the reasons I've stuck with WP is how well you look after us compared to the mod's on some other autism websites.

Update: I've contacted Alex about all this and he said that IP alone and the exact time sent should be enough, so hopefully it'll be like that.

I only just saw this...
I dont understand....he was always so nice. He used to PM me all the time. I knew he had left because he switched to emailing me directly, but I hadnt realized he was kicked off...

What feelio and ferris have said - you're not the only one he's been mailing; half of the mods too. In fact half of the forum.

if you want to see what kind of monstrosity he's capable of messaging, I can forward to you a message he's sent to cca 10 people here (we all got a variation of it). Please don't fall for the sweet words, he's psychopathic and capable of manipulation and guilt-tripping with suicide.
