So we post stuff about how depressed we are, Postperson finds that abhorrent, we find his trying to shut us down abhorrent, Quatermass finds us abhorrent for doing that...

It appears to be a sly attempt at the continiuation of several locked threads.

I just thought this thread could use some cute kitties, maybe cheer up the mood.

Wo-wo-wo. I just wondered why people thought depressives/emos were abhorrent according to Postperson to the point where she would want us gone. Maybe I should have just said that? I'm confused. I just can't help defending myself when someone talks s**t about me. Am I supposed to ignore it and let them spread slander about me? Then I would be kicked off the board anyway, so it doesn't really matter, does it?

Your OP on that thread was stupid, even if it was in jest.

Most people here are understanding toward those who are feeling depressed. You don't need to defend yourself--nobody's kicking anybody off for being depressed. Please don't worry about that. Let's drop the argument from the removed thread though.

So, no-one knows who removed the nutjobs II thread (the one in the mature age section) and you don't know why?

And you're still investigating a 'private' complaint about the socipaths/bullies thread.

I don't have a problem with the first 'nutjobs' thread being pulled, I don't see any reason at all for the other two to be removed. The last time I saw the Nutjobs II thread it was civil and interesting, I don't know whether the trolls descended upon it. I would like to see them both reinstated.

Yes to the first question. Generally when something disappears and we don't know who did it, it was Alex who made the decision. There have been a few times in which a mod has moved an item and forgotten to inform the others, (which is our normal practice) but this doesn't happen often. There are reserve mods in the case of spam attacks but it is rare that they take any action in cases like these. So I can't help you with the second nutjobs thread. There's no record of it at all that I can see.

I don't think there's anything left to talk about regarding the sociopaths thread. I am just waiting for the okay to unlock it, because we don't reverse each other's decisions. There could conceivably be some aspect of which I'm unaware, too.

Also possible that the person who did it hasn't been on yet (to see this thread). I could have overlooked something, too (I doubt that, since I've searched multiple times, but it's possible).

What was the exact name of the second thread?

I would like to apologise once again for the way I argued in that thread, although my comments (the ones that I made a few days before the argument) about seeing nothing wrong with posting about loneliness and "am I an Aspie" still stand.
As does my "Ana is cool" comment, which was not meant as "Ana is part of the cool in-crowd, leave her alone or watch out", but rather as "I think that Ana is a decent person with a good heart."
