i think the friends list on-offline works by detecting who is logged in, no? though it's a start.

I'm not sure exactly how the code would work- it is just something they do on Aspie'scentral.com and I really liked that feature. I know the well-known mods are always asked first about stuff which is great- except that it shouldn't always be your job to take care of every little thing. I wonder if I were to send a message to the mods of that website, if they could tell me how it works. Not sure if Alex would be interested in implementing such a thing, however.

I asked one of the mods of the website forum where they have it and was told, "It is a default feature of our forum software which is XenForo - Compelling Community Forum Software. I don't think anything like it exists for the software that WP uses." So it looks like it is part of their software but since ours isn't similar, we probably can't run something like that. Oh well... it was a thought.

A personalised filter for 'View Posts Since Last Visit' would be a useful feature; the default setting remains as it is currently but with the option to deselect 2-3 sub forums.
I like the games section, I post there, it serves a purpose, but... Do the posts from that section really need to be 'viewed' as much, as a post in the Haven?

true, probably not, WP used to run on phpbb2 and that was heavily tailored and tweaked over the years, something like that would most likely be pushing it even on phpbb3. but i'm no expert.

Is there any particular reason why posts can no longer be deleted or edited after a certain amount of time has passed?

Also, the ability to attach images - and only images - to posts would be ideal, so one wouldn't need to rely on something like imgur to place pictures into his/her thread.

Fix the fact profile edits don't work...the thing to change your picture is broken, and also apparently you cannot change your signature....so fixing those issues would be cool, but I don't expect it since it hasn't happened in the past 12 months...seems whoever runs this site jsut ignores it as a non-issue when its actually an issue that is quite frankly pissing some people like me off to where they are visiting the site less and less and less and eventually LLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs until I don't come anymore.

Could we please have a way to remove some posts from the list on the "view your posts" thing? I posted once or twice in some of the game or fluff threads and I have to wade through tons of those to get to the posts that I'm looking for. I'd like to be able to hide posts for a session so in case I want to see those fluff ones next time, I can.

Is it possible? Please?

It has probably already been suggested but there are 36 pages to wade through to discover if it has. Yes, I have focus and quite some degree of determination but that is actually too much for me. So, here it goes:

My suggestion would be to have some "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" feature. This way you can tell the poster that you liked or disliked what (s)he wrote. Many people just read the threads but don't respond to it, like I "occasionally" do. Sometimes I like what I read and sometimes I don't but I don't have anything else to add to the thread. I may however feel the need to show how much I like the post. That's something that's lacking on this website.

most of the time i relate to above ^

i'd end up simply typing "this" or versions of i agree but i get not wanting to make an entire post to just make that point.

it's not, unfortunately. i deal with the same thing, wishing you could remove threads from that feature. blacklisting them. :?
