Late with this but I believe cyberdad was hacked. He is not 21 and female.

This may have been done by cyberdad as a leaving joke, or edited by the recent intruder.
I've PM'd cyberdad and asked if he did it.

Bit of weird one - I tried to login on my phone only to be met with a message saying 'You have been permanently banned from this forum' but I logged in on my computer and that worked so I guess that was a glitch?

Edit: Ah nevermind, just seen a thread reporting the same issue.

This one? viewtopic.php?t=414840
If so, please PM me the IP of your phone and I'll unban it.

Mona Pereth and I are also seeing the "permanently banned" messages. I PMed the 2 IP addresses.

Sent PM to Cornflake with incorrectly banned IPs.

No related IPs or accounts were banned, but I suspect I know what the problem is and you should be able to log on Ok now.

Had that problem earlier today and it is obviously fixed.

Thanks, Cornflake. I am able to log in now.

And thanks to my friends Archmage and Carl for reporting the issue on my behalf. (I could not have reported it here myself, because I don't use a smartphone; I use only a PC for Internet access and a an old-fashioned flip phone for phone calls.)

Seems this thread is causing a bit of tension. Maybe needs tidying up.

I wonder if an alcoholics support group thread would work better in The Haven.

That thread is beyond redemption as a support thread - it's been renamed to better suit what it became.

I would hope that posters are at least more respectful of the title, if one is started there.

It's a pity that some posters aren't at least respectful of each other regardless of threads or thread titles.

This site is for everyone and just because some groups express there challenges in a less overt way doesn't mean their challenges are any the less valid.

I saw us all as a group of adults on that thread who have been through quite a lot and who have turned to drink. Does that make our "drinking problems" less valid than a person who has overtly got problems.

Maybe one in the haven might help. Go for it.
