We can practise being NT now, by lying about our ages again :-) Oh hang on, the age is still in the user profile :-( Auntblabby, if IE doesn't do colours, why not forsake it and use one of the alternatives? I just noticed an improvement. If a topic gets moved to a different section, it's still listed under the original section, so you can still find it. At least I think that's new.

I stick with IE because it is what comes with windows 7. it has built-in virus and malware protection so that is another reason why I stick with it. and the "new" WP has several new interesting features such as a fancier poll apparatus :)

Yes you might find using my preferred path more trouble than it's worth.

Now I'm using the desktop version. This is not as bad as the mobile version. If anything, I prefer to have separate columns for the number of replies, the OP name etc for the thread list. Also it would be nice to have the user's gender, diagnosis, age etc with the option of hiding them.

The Academic-Autistic Spectrum Partnership in Research and Education (AASPIRE) and other autism-related groups including ASAN have developed a web site http://www.autismandhealth.org/ which provides "information and worksheets for adults on the autism spectrum, supporters, and healthcare providers. It focuses on primary healthcare, or healthcare with a regular doctor. The resources on this site are meant to improve the healthcare of autistic adults. They were made [...] through a series of research studies funded by the National Institute of Mental Health."

The web site offers various "themes" which allow a user to adjust the brightness of the site pages. Looking at the source code, these themes appear to be quite simple (except for the design of each theme). Something that might be used at Wrong Planet.

ASAN itself has a slightly different way http://www.autisticadvocacy.org/accessibility-options to adjust brightness and font sizes. Its code might also be helpful.

I adjusted my screen's brightness and that pretty much took away all my problems.

That is awesome to have wp formatted like this. So much more attractive now.

yes, going to old WP felt like stepping in a time machine and warping back to the mid 2000's :P (although i had no problems with the speed)

either way, it's nice to give the little green alien guy a bit more attention.

That's as good a name for him as any. In fact, that's the perfect name for him - Aspie the Alien!
