Some blogs look like company ads or spam

Hi everybody,

Has anybody noticed that some people's blog entries look like company ads/spam? These people all "have never logged into WP" and all make the blog the same day they registered on this site. They also appear never to have otherwise contributed to WP. Is this allowed?

So far I haven't seen any spam show up in the actual forums, but was a bit disconcerted to see the "blog" for male enhancement...

If you do notice this sort of thing, it would be rather nice if you could PM one of us (the mods) with the username concerned. Often, these are users that are sending (or about to send) spam PMs.

You are quite correct that they are already breaking the rules - even without posting, as we'll happily lump them under the rule "* Mentioning your own site is only permitted once you've contributed substantial useful content to the forums." - even though that's stretching it a bit.
