The moderators don't care

I am being insulted frequently at WP. Reported it to the moderators but they do not react.
My impression is that they just don't like me. It s the same everywhere.

People are strange when you re a stranger.

People criticize me too. You get over it. Remember, Aspies can tend to say the wrong thing when they don't mean it. I do that occassionally.

You've made only 24 posts; how could you be insulted "frequently"?
It looks like many of your posts have been insulting to others (Like this one, in which you're insulting the moderators.)

I know that you're probably used to getting bullied; while people with autism tend to get bullied in most places, most of us here are on the spectrum. If someone who has made only a few posts claims that someone else is insulting them, but the person they say is being insulting has been here for awhile, getting along with other members and not causing problems, how seriously can the moderators take it?

I also have a tendency to feel like people don't like me. Sometimes it's true, sometimes it's not.
I find that a good way to learn the truth is to ask the person you feel doesn't like you about specific behaviors. Total denial or aggressiveness usually indicates that something is wrong; explanations and specifics of what's going on indicate that the person is willing to work on the issue.

Looking at your posts, it seems like you've been purposely argumentative, and I've noticed that you've directed an awful lot of that at one person in particular who tends to be extremely understanding and easy to get along with.

Maybe it would be easier if you tried to get into some discussions about more neutral topics, rather than jumping right into emotionally charged political debates. It's easy to end up getting insulting when you dive right into a heated debate or make a controversial point.. lighter topics can be easier, particularly when you don't know the people you're talking to very well.

You're less likely to be judged harshly if you don't judge others harshly. From what I can tell, most of the moderators here are great people who try very hard. Most of them are also aspies, so they have many of the same social problems as the rest of us do. If you want them to give you a chance, make sure you give them a chance, too. If you have a problem with something, don't demand that something be done, just ask the moderators about it. They don't like being ordered around any more than you do, so if you have a problem with someone, try asking them about it, not only asking them to do something, but also asking them what you should do. The moderators have been around here awhile and know at least a bit about most of the members, so they may also be able to give you advice on dealing with particular people that might confuse you.

I hope maybe that helps.. Don't assume that people on WP are just like people everywhere else. Maybe some are, but most are not.

Therefore, I will blanket insult the non-paid moderators of the site. What is done unto me must be visited upon others. This is only justice being served, and I am but a mere instrument meting it out as I see fit.

And it's just so obvious that they don't care. Donating hours, months, and years of their time freely so that people here may have a haven from abuse, an area to learn and grow, a place to belong. That parents might learn to better themselves and deal with their child. So that kids can share on the site without fear of bullying or predation.

What specifically are these "insults"?

Looked through the threads and didn't see any insults. Looks like you don't like it when people don't agree with you so you find it an insult?

QFT literally means "Quoted For Truth" and is used when you agree with the referenced post (I just looked this one up the other day oddly enough).

It's like saying "I think this too!"

So it's okay for you to criticize others, but they can't criticize you?

No, they did not ask me to write that. I wrote it because when I've gone to moderators with reasonable concerns, those concerns have been addressed. But when somebody shows up and immediately starts complaining, red flags go up. You've been a member of this site for two days, written a couple of short posts that made blanket, controversial statements, gotten angry, and then started insulting the volunteer moderators.
Why don't you try engaging in conversation instead of attacking everybody?

Plotinus, it's a tempting role to always find a way to be the victim, but not particularly honest or empowering.

Do you want pity or respect? Do you want to spend your whole life being patted on the head and treated as weak and fragile?

Do the people you admire spend much time feeling sorry for themselves?

Being able to tolerate, if not accept, criticism is a quality that is respectable. Being able to concisely formulate and articulate pertinent non-judgemental disagreement is a difficult art, and one that many people here are practising. Someone who can do that definitely wins my respect, even while I may still disagree with them.

After seeing how a friend of mine interprets what an insult is, I have to wander what these insults are before being sure of your point. He was insulted at one or two times don't get me wrong, but he does come off insulting to. He places all NTs under a negative sterio type, and I'm not very supportive of that from him, really. Mostly people interpret it logicaly though, and he thinks their interpretations are sometimes insults, when they are really oppinions. If some of us are offended, we will react. Seriously. I've been on both ends.

Mods are useful, but we have little proof whether they did anything or not. They could have had a word with said persons, but we don't know that unless we see it. I have involved myself with one thread that I feel should have been locked down, but never was. I believe the adult thread was made just for the sole purpose of stirring trouble. I found it quit insulting... Do I need to get started?

Not your threads, because I havn't read them. Just saying....
