The other day I came across this YouTube video, and it really shocked and saddened me, because it basically branded every single member of Wrong Planet an "Autism Nazi":

I'm not sure how many ways there are to refute this person's claims, but here's one I could think of: the poster reveals a great deal of his/her own prejudice in decrying the members of this forum for their perceived prejudice. But then again, maybe if he or she were a member of the "superior Aspergian" race, he or she would have figured that out and therefore, not have posted this video in the first place.

My first suggestion is to take a look at who has produced this video: "Protection Force for Young Females from Autism"... which if I am not mistaken is an offshoot from an individual who has produced anti-ASD propaganda on the internet, including Encyclopedia Dramatica, for some time. Secondly, to consider that any individual with an ax to grind could take things out of context and make an argument of rather unbelievable things. Without that context, things are made to look worse and selected for their dramatic effect. Third, that to give them credit for their efforts only serves to encourage them, and that advertising their work or instigating online fighting does not serve the benefit of WP or its membership - it only enables those who would continue to act in such a manner. And lastly... all it takes is for someone who watches that video to come to WP, and see for themselves that the reality doesn't match what the creator claims in the video. Yes, there are times when unpleasant things are said, there are unpopular views shared, there are words said in anger, and there are even a few trolls who appear from time to time to stir things up. But, all things considered, I still haven't found a more welcoming place to come when I am overwhelmed than here.

ROFL, someone must have really pissed this guy off, he must have been posting in the PPR forum.
If anything, this person is promoting WP, because anyone watching that video who has never been here, is going to come here to have a look, and then see that this place is nothing like the video says.

Ahhhhrrrrggggh! (I just got my computer back from the shop, so I resisted throwing something at the screen, but had to at least do something!)

This has got to be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. The post examples shown there were pretty bad, yes, but some I'd guess were taken totally out of context. And, if not, were probably removed by the mods. They seem to be good at monitoring that stuff. Also, when people start getting off on a nasty foot, other users tend to tell them to cut it out.

Since I've been here on WP I have specifically noticed & commented on the lack of flaming compared to other forums I read. You could make a video like this about just about any forum on the web if you just scanned & happened to read some nasty posts.

And personally, I've never espoused, nor do I agree with any of the views we all supposedly have here. I'm pretty sure most of us don't take the idea of Aspergerians & Wrong Planet literally. (I've always though of stuff like that as having a sense of humor about myself. *shrug*).

It seems like someone can't distinguish between thought experiments, humor and plain idiocy. It seems like someone has had some bad experiences with one Aspie and projected them onto an entire community. It seems like the person who made this video is the perfect example of a hatemonger falsely accusing others of hatemongering. Aspies For Freedom is filled with those idiots.

Anyway, I'd say that while low-functioning autists may be more prone to bias and prejudice because of their limited mental abilities, high-functioning autists seem less biased and prejudiced than neurotypical people because they do not subconsciously filter and process every information rationally. While this may lead to unpopular and politically incorrect conclusions on a regular basis, this doesn't imply bias or prejudice from his side but in fact sometime even implies bias and prejudice at the Marxist-multiculturalist side of the argument.

Some of the staunchest liberals I've met are also some of the most narrowminded and hatefilled idiots I've met, whereas I've met genuine Nazis, Fascists and racists who are kind, decent and highly moral people. While this may be confusing to your average brainwashed liberal lemming, it's the reality I experience every day.
