There were complaints that there were too many stickies, especially for people on smaller monitors or mobile devices, having to scroll through a bunch of stickies.
I don't see why there should be so many stickies that aren't announcements anyway. If a thread is popular, it will stay at the top from people posting in it, so why sticky it?
I thought they were going to make one sticky post that would link to all the old stickies, though..

oh, geeze, that must totally suck, Sartresue! to not have personal access to WP. I am saving up my pennies for a net book, as they are so much cheaper than buying a computer to access the net. When my laptop was stolen I found a desktop for 65$ on Craig's List I have been using ever since.
