Just curious!
Why do the Donate details change depending on whether you are on the WP front page or on the WP Forum Index?
From

To

Which price for a new server is the correct one?
And, the burning question: which of the two figures for total donations is right?

Fixed, apparently! 
Total donations $2,314! But the server became lots more expensive than previously thought, and went from $3,700 to $4,800, which is a shame!

sorry i had the wrong price from the beginning. the 3700 was if the server were only 300/month but thats the cost of the CURRENT server.

I think the new Donations button is brilliant. And the "Running Total" is cool too.

It suddenly occurred to me that that could be quite a time-consuming job, if you are getting lots of little, or even lots of big, donations coming in!
I hope you don't get snowed under with that "calculating/sum", at the same time as continuing to get lots of donations!! ! lol.
I quite like accounting work, in small bursts, and for a good cause, but I suspect that there's not much I can do over here ( in France ) to help! But I noticed that the total has been stagnating at the same figure now for a couple of days, and was thinking that this might be because you are snowed under.
Good luck with keeping the Running Total more or less up to date!
