Maybe add to WP a classifieds? I really like the format of the one on http://vampirefreaks.com/classifieds/

Its clean, decently moderated, and effective. I am referring to the personals of course, but it could be used for more on here as well (events, for sale, etc). You do get some junk posts and stuff too, and posts that are really dumb, but theres some good ones. Maybe WP could do it similar, if not better. 18+ of course for dating.

As for the privacy issue and "predators': [swearing removed by lau], common sense. If the objection to this idea is "privacy" or "personal info" then thats bogus. Don't post or reply if you don't want to, Nobody would force you.

This site is slow enough already. WP already needs a faster server. I don't think we should even THINK about that until a new server is available.

Um, we are on the new server, and things are loading like instantly for me at least, if I am on a good connection.

There was/is already AspieAffection, but the site seems to be rather infrequently used or something.

Weird. It takes AGES for Wrong Planet to load for me. I don't think that new server is fast enough to deal with 900 people simultaneously on Wrong Planet and (as of this post) 38,350 members.
