Is there a way for members to ignore users or threads? Some forums, every member can put other members on there "ignore list", so the persons messages do not show up to you

some people here make me want to put my fist threw my computer monitor, it would be nice if I could put them on a "ignore list" or something like that

interestingly, i sometimes like to read posts by users that i think are idiots.

if the thread is long, and i start reading each post, i often skip over the ones i can see that i will agree with after reading a few words.
the ones that trap my eye are the one's which make me think "are you joking? what an idiot".
they are the ones i often most like to respond to. i am not sure why.
maybe because i have nothing to add to the ones i agree with.

i like to watch trolls as well because it is fun to watch them say extreme stuff.
i will often return to threads where someone is an absolute d1ckhead who states something that is sure to destroy their reputation.

maybe it is similar to people who stop talking to their friends to watch a fight start to develop elsewhere.

no one can be shipped to the surface of the sun because they would be vaporized at about 10 million miles before they reached the "surface".
there is no real surface of the sun, it is a gaseous giant that is so massive that it is in a state of thermonuclear reaction and all coherent matter would be obliterated to a state of plasma at around 3-8 million miles from it.

hmm, I think there might be a post here, but I dont see one  oh, thats right, I must have this person blocked (just kidding :P )

But really, when you use that it dosent actually 'block' your posts from view, all it does is colapse the view of the users you block, so all you need to do is click on them to read there post.
It is still very useful, but it is not like you click a button and that post never apears to you. For me it reminds me that the person I blocked usually starts crap with me, what mood am I in, am I in the correct mood to want to read it without putting my fist threw my bedroom wall. I got to remind myself that the person is aspie and might not know any better, and that it is my issue with anger that I need to control and the reason I was asking if there was a feature like this. Although not a perfect solution, and tricky to install, it does work if you find it useful

There have been people here who annoyed me and I just wanted to block them (they aren't here anymore). I only blocked one because I don't need to see her BS.

I am, I can't read any of your posts, therefore I can't reply to any of them either.

The same script should also work in Seamonkey, Epiphany, Chrome, Safari, and perhaps Opera.
