Is anyone else having trouble logging on to WP?

What do you mean? Do you mean your password isn't working or the page isn't loading?


I have noticed the slowness still.

I've noticed periods of slowness too the last few days, so slow sometimes that WP became unusable so I closed the browser and got on with other things.

yes, it is soooooooo slow right now. Firefox wont even load the site, I can only get IE to load it, and it takes forever!
Then again it says there are 712 people online!! ! Did WP outgrow the new server/setup ALREADY? It seems when there are 500 or less people online at once, the site runs great, but once you get close to 650-700, it seems it starts to have issues

LOL, as soon as I got done posting that, everything has speed up, and it now loads super fast

EDIT, I mean it is the fastest I have ever seen a forum load now I wonder if someone is playing jokes on us lol

It periodically becomes very slow for short lengths of time, but then is very fast again.

It was only been unstable since a member got deleted and since then, its been running very unstable that even Alex himself was not pleased that eventually that he had more issues to fix.... I will not go into much detail as it is against the rules to do so.

I don't even understand why that would make it unstable?

Its time people just got on with things, I doubt it has anything to do with an ex member, its just a a server error, funny thing is, it occurred at the same time one was happening on secondlife and both unrelated

Yes. I have had problems logging one again, with the request for waiting and alex's conference excerpt.
It's been like this for me occasionally over the past few days, if I recall correctly.

I don't know, I'm just guessing, but maybe Alex has been tinkering with the code, either fixing problems or making upgrades. I would assume the site would slow down when it's being worked on.

It isn't going slow on me though.... I've been able to log in just fine and everything, the only problems i'm getting is the fact I get this message saying theres HIGH amount of people on WP and I get this YouTube clip....

Remember when we moved to the first server and everything was stable and alex did say it will run abit slow for a while due to seeding to the back-up server incase something has messed up... That could most likely be the case.

Maybe he could be restoring some settings or accounts that have been claimed to be missing?
