As in the screen where you pick from "General Discussion" etc.

I've seen this on a few other message boards and it can come in pretty handy if you're anticipating a reply in a certain thread.

You mean like clicking the link at the top of the forum Index on the right hand side that says

I think he means in the "Last Post" column on the forum index page, it would be nice if you could see, not just who last posted in that forum, but what thread. You're suggestion is probably the best alternative, since we don't have that, but it's not what he's suggesting.

I think it's be cool if each thread was marked with * for when you have replied in it. Any mark would do.

defiantly having a * for where you posted last, my mind is sort of scattered this week have so much trouble remembering where I post

I do like that feature on the board I'm on that has it.

There is a way here to find threads you've posted in, though. Find the "View your posts" link on the right on the forum index page. I use that every time I come here.
