Is this advertisement frequently hosted here?

I ask because I'm new...but it is kind of driving me batty.

Its flashing border isn't exactly ringing my bell either...

A scam, obviously. Plus, having that blare out of my speakers at random intervals is starting to piss me off.

I still remember seeing these ads in popup form and actually calling the number shown in these popups. Only later did I learn that it is a scam.

Are there adverts on this site? Never seen any or heard any. But then I haven't seen any adverts on the internet for years. If you are one of the dwindling number of people who still use Microsoft's Internet Explorer you get all the crap mentioned in this thread. More and more people are abandoning IE and switching to Firefox internet browser with the AdBlock add-on.

im working on getting rid of this ad. its served by a third party that is set not to display any ads with audio so i'm trying to figure out why its showing and how to block it from appearing. I HATE sound ads.

using safari. Firefox has stopped working for me since the last release. I should roll back, but I'm too lazy.

I wouldn't touch IE with a ten foot shotgun.

Alex: Thanks. Now that is some kickin' customer service.

I recall one with a flashing border, but not what it was for. The flashing border made me notice it, sure, but didn't make me look close enough to see what it was for. Quite the opposite. I refreshed the page to get a different ad.

Reading on in the thread, yes, it had sound too. Must be that ad.

And thank you, Alex. :)

I use FireFox, but haven't bothered with the Ad Block add on. Ads don't generally bother me. Well, most of them.
