I wanted to check the discussion for norwegian aspies. But every tim I try to open that page some unwanted anti-virsu-check starts. I have no idea what this is, but I don't like that some unknown and unwanted program start to scan my computer without my approval.

I was unable to see the norwegian discussion, because this happens every time I had to stop the program through taskmanager. why does this happen? Is this some spyware og virusprogram? I have not had this happen in any other sites, so I think my computer is all right.

Is it happening here? Use firefox and install ad block. If you don't have firefox, you can download the browser at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/

And ad block:

Installing a ad blocker is a good idea, and to find out more about the virus, read my thread a couple threads down about the fake scanner advert

A virus once infected my computer by saying "You may have a virus! Click here to scan your computer for malware now!" I (stupidly) pressed the link and my computer was immediately infected. Of course, the fake scanner you're seeing might just be a benign advertisement, but then again, it might be something more dangerous. You shouldn't use any "antivirus" that you aren't familiar with.
